Orchard (“we”, “us”) is a community app for intentions, prayer, and support. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

What we collect

Account data: email (for authentication), and basic profile fields you choose to provide (name, city/state, avatar, timezone).
Community content: posts, comments, reactions, burst participation, and affirmation submissions you create.
Notifications: your notification preferences and (if you opt in) web push subscription details.
Security & integrity logs: audit logs for critical actions and moderation events needed to keep the community safe.

How we use information

To provide authentication, personalization (timezone/terminology), and core app features.
To deliver notifications you’ve enabled (in-app, push, and email where configured).
To prevent abuse, enforce rules, and investigate reports.
To measure aggregate product usage and improve reliability.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate Orchard—for example with our authentication and infrastructure providers.

Your choices

Update profile fields in your profile settings.
Adjust notification preferences in notification settings.
Request account deletion via account settings. Deletion anonymizes your profile and preserves community continuity.
